If you have arrived here looking for a reputable company to design a conservatory or orangery for your home, this is the right place. We design and install traditional and modern conservatories throughout Suffolk and are happy to visit you in Stowmarket to discuss your requirements.

Our conservatories and orangeries are bespoke made by carpenters and craftsmen using traditional skills, but we use modern fitments and double-glazing to ensure excellent insulation and a draught-free environment. This means that with the right heating you should be able to enjoy your conservatory not just in the summer but throughout the year as well.

We build large Georgian style conservatories for Listed Buildings and small contemporary conservatories for modern homes. Whatever your requirements, we believe that we can design a conservatory that will complement your home and be the envy of your friends and neighbours.

Stownmarket is a market town situated between Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich. It is only 15-minutes by train to Ipswich and around 90-minutes to London, making this a popular commuter town.

The town takes its name from the Anglo-Saxon word ‘Stow’ which means ‘principle place’, and was granted a market charter in 1347 by Edward III. The church of St Peter and St Mary has an interesting history dating back to the 14th century.

The 16th century has associations with the poet John Milton who made regular visits to the town to see his tutor Dr Thomas Young, the vicar at the time.

Other notable residents of Stowmarket include political writer William Goodwin, poet George Crabbe, England International footballer Matthew Upson and Delia Smith who lives in nearby Combs. The broadcaster John Peel also lived nearby.

A popular visitor destination is the Museum of East Anglian Life. Opened in 1967 it occupies a 75-acre site and features many aspects of agricultural history, as well as rare breed farm animals and Suffolk Punch horses.

The population of Stowmarket is 14,380 living in 6,261 homes. The verage 4-bed detached property is valued at £250,000.
