If you have arrived here looking for a reputable company to design a conservatory or orangery for your home, this is the right place. We design and install traditional and modern conservatories throughout Suffolk and are happy to visit Felixstowe to discuss your requirements.

Our conservatories and orangeries are bespoke made by carpenters and craftsmen using traditional skills, but we use modern fitments and double-glazing to ensure excellent insulation and a draught-free environment. This means that with the right heating you should be able to enjoy your conservatory not just in the summer but throughout the year as well.

We build large Georgian style conservatories for Listed Buildings and small contemporary conservatories for modern homes. Whatever your requirements, we believe that we can design a conservatory that will complement your home and be the envy of your friends and neighbours.

Railway Station Felixstowe Suffolk
Felixstowe Railway Station

Felixstowe seaport is the largest container port in the UK and is one of the five Haven ports in the area that represent the most important cluster of ports in the UK.

A village has stood on the Felixstowe site since Roman times, but the town didn’t become a major port until 1886. During the late Victorian period Felixstowe became a fashionable resort, initiated by the opening of a railway station and a visit by the then German imperial family. To enable visitors by boat, in 1905 a pier was built, it was the longest in the country and had its own railway line. During WWII the part of the pier was deliberately demolished to prevent it from being used as a landing point for enemy troops.

The main landmark in Felixstowe is Landguard Fort. Built on the orders of Henry VIII, it is the only fort in England to have repelled a full-scale invasion attempt, by the Dutch, in 1667.

The Spa Pavilion is a thriving theatre that attracts many popular artists and shows. The actor Sir John Mills came from Felixstowe, and Wallis, Duchess of Windsor (Mrs Simpson) spent time in Felixstowe whilst waiting for Edward VIII’s abdication.

The population of Felixstowe is 29,349 living in 29,092 homes, and the average 4-bed detached property sells for £340,000, while sea view homes sell in excess of £550,000.
